15th December 2017
Dear Parents and Carers,
As the end of term approaches it is my pleasure to let you know how well our school is performing. Yesterday the DFE published their performance tables and you can look at them on our website and on the link: https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/primary-school-performance-tables-2017
Please also see the article from the Liverpool Echo on 14th December about highly performing schools in the City of Liverpool.
We are delighted and proud that Whitefield continues to be a school that performs well above average nationally not just locally.
At Whitefield our pupils make outstanding progress from their starting points as they move through the school.
Since the introduction of the new national testing system, our KS2 pupils have performed well above the national average in relation to pupils meeting the national expectations in reading, writing and mathematics for 2 years.
The progress made through KS2 in reading and mathematics puts the school in the top 10% nationally in relation to progress made in 2016 and 2017.
Our passion at Whitefield is to provide the highest quality of education for every single child in our care. Most importantly we know that happy, safe children learn best.
May I thank every member of staff for their dedication, skill and care of our children and thank you all for your continued support.
Well done Whitefield!
Nothing but the best!
